{Style Insider} Elle Quebec x RW&CO Collaboration Launch

” Long time, no see!” says to me Elle Quebec‘s Denis Desro. We laugh together. Few hours ago, we were sitting at La Société, discussing Elle Quebec‘s collaboration with RW&CO. Few hours later, we were at RW&Co store at Place Ville-Marie, sipping champagne and celebrating the launch of the capsule collection – along with other media, stylists and influencers. ”Have you tried any of the dresses yet?” asked me a fellow blogger while walking with three dresses towards the dressing room. ” You should pick the black one with the sleeves! So-you!” she adds from afar. Around, women were picking pieces and trying them repeatedly, most of them were hesitating between two or three. I, myself, picked the black one my friend was referring to and a red one, with circular flowers. The black one is so-me! indeed. The red isn’t something I’d go for usually, but for some reasons, I fell for that one particularly. The fabric is consistent, the red roses on the dresses look abstract and I found the red shades tasteful. And just like that, I was also hesitating between the two dresses. I was very confused – you know, when you really want something but you can’t get them both?

Few minutes later, during which I switched both dresses many times and had many people’s opinion intervene, I finally made up my choice ( I won’t tell you which one … Yet!). However, I have to admit I also loved the textured strapless Karine* gorgeously rocked! It fitted with her personality oh-so-well! It looks fun and playful on her, while giving her a feminine allure! My second coup de Coeur was Lolitta Dandoy‘s textured dress with plunging neckline**. I find her to look super trendy with that dress, while the back of the geo textured pieces reminds of Giambattista Valli‘s couture feel!

It was a delightful launch! One can only hope for another capsule collection – I head one guest say. Somewhere in the store, we still could hear DJ YO-C mix his awesome music! We had the dresses, the champagne, the music and a nice company.  A delectable taste of the upcoming holiday season.
